What we are looking for..

General Qualifications

  •         Being born after 01.01.1964

  •         At least high school graduation

  •        Not having received any written punishment due to flight failure or flight indiscipline

  •        Not having a criminal record or criminal archive record

  •        Incident/Accident Clearence Statement

  •        Accepting the place to be shown by the Company as the main base and residing there

  •        Not having quitted jobs in Turkish Airlines Inc.or other organizations due to indiscipline previously

  •        Not having left Turkish Airlines Inc. and its affiliates due to contract termination previously

 Technical Qualifications
  •         Having an ATPL(A) (SHGM/EASA/FAA/ICAO)

  •         Having at least 500 hours of PIC in B737  or A320 aircraft type

  •         Having at least 4000 hours of flight experience in aircraft types over 27 tons

  •         Having actively flown in the last six months

  •         Logbook pages must be updated and approve

  •         Have a valid B737 or A320  type rating

Language Requirements     

• Minimum ICAO LEVEL 4 in English

Health Conditions

1. Pilot Recruitment Health Criteria

•  Having a valid health certificate issued by DGCA Authorized Aviation Medical Center does not mean that your employment examination has been completed. The latest pre-employment examination to be performed by AJet workplace physicians is essential. Meanwhile, our workplace physicians, who will also look at your past health records and current health file, will decide whether or not you will be started to work as a result of their evaluations. The candidates who have diseases other than the listed ones can send their questions to [email protected]

2. Having an up-to-date 'Flightworthy' Health Report

•On the last day of the assessment process’ candidates are required to obtain a report

issued from Aviation Medical Centers authorized by the Directorate General of Civil

Aviation, stating that their health conditions are suitable for flight.

Evaluation Processes for Expat Pilots

Prior to Phase 1 there will be an online document check for the suitability of the candidates.

Only the candidates who are fit to the criteria will be called out for the assessments in

İstanbul.

PHASE 1

•Document Check

The documents requested in the job post such as logbook,licenses, diploma, passport, etc. will be checked.

•CRM Group Assessment

Candidates whose documents are approved will be sent to a group assessment to determine

their CRM levels.

PHASE 2

•Simulator Assesment

The candidates will be tested on their piloting skills with the simulator assessment which

includes preflight brief, flight assessment, and post-flight debrief.

•Company Interview

The interview conducted by HR Specialists and captain pilots. The interview will consist of

questions about candidates’ backgrounds, experiences, and technical knowledge.

PHASE 3

•Medical Assessment

Candidates will be sent to a designated private hospital for a thorough medical check which

will be expensed by AJET .

Note that all expenses will be paid by AJET including plane tickets,

accommodation and transportation from the hotel to the assessment center.
